Bernie Miller (in collaboration with Alan Tregebov) | Veer (Proposal for a Monument to Emma Goldman)
1998 | pencil & watercolour on paper | variable dimensions
This large-scale drawing in watercolor and pencil presents an exciting play on perspective. Lines expand and contract in space, offset by punctuations of color. Bernie Miller is renowned for his uncanny public art on view in cities across Canada; his smaller scale works are also held in important collections across the country.
Bernie Miller is a Toronto born artist currently based in Winnipeg, Canada whose work in public sculpture explores monumentality, history, and identity relating to place.
